THIS MONUMENT, HONORING THOSE HAVING SERVED IN WORLD WAR II, AT ONE TIME, APPROXIMATELY 1943, WOULD BE FOUND ON THE PROPERTY WHERE THE ROYALTON BANKING FACILITY NOW STANDS. THE MONUMENT WAS REMOVED TO MAKE ROOM FOR A BUILDING BEING CONSTRUCTED FOR USE AS A DOCTOR'S OFFICE. THIS STRUCTURE WAS ALSO USED AS A VILLAGE HALL. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE NAMES ENLARGED, PLEASE "CLICK" ON THE ABOVE PHOTO AND YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO ANOTHER PAGE. REMEMBER, HOWEVER, THIS NEW PHOTO WILL MORE THAN FILL YOUR MONITOR SCREEN, AND YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE SCROLL BARS TO FIND THE PARTICULAR AREA FOR WHICH YOU ARE SEARCHING.
